The Housing and Community Development Division oversees a variety of programs designed to assist  Mesa's low and/or moderate income individuals and families. To accomplish this task, the Division has assumed a number of vital roles within the community.

Human Services

Don't forget that the Annual Point-In-Time (PIT) Homeless Street Count will be held the last week of January, 2017.  Please see the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) website at www.azmag.gov/homelesscount for the announcement of the exact date that the count will take place.

The Human Services Division is responsible for funding and coordinating a comprehensive social services delivery system for Mesa. This office represents the City on social service issues such as homelessness, poverty, domestic violence and other regional human services issues.
