Firefighter Recruit

The following is a brief overview of the requirements for the position of firefighter recruit.  Specific information or requirements may change but will be provided in the Firefighter Recruit job announcement (when available).

***Mesa Fire and Medical is tentatively planning on having a hiring process sometime in 2018***

  • Minimum Applicant requirements
    • 18 years of age by application closing date.
    • High school diploma or GED by application closing date.
    • EMT or Paramedic certification will be required before each selection process begins and must be kept current thereafter.
